1% Can Clear This (iPhone, Android and web) · One Percent Games · Last updated 28 September 2026
This policy explains what information the game "1% Can Clear This" collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep it to what the game needs to work: saving your progress, showing the rankings and showing ads.
What we collect
- A game account. When you first open the game, a guest account is created for you automatically (Google Firebase Authentication). It has a random ID and no personal details.
- Sign in with Google or Apple (optional). If you choose "Save with Google" or "Save with Apple", your account is linked to that sign-in so your progress can come back on another device. Firebase then stores the identifier, email address and name that Google or Apple share for this. We don't use them for anything else. With Apple, you can choose to hide your email.
- Your game progress. Your rider name, horseshoes, horses, looks, power-ups, best scores, missions and stickers, saved online (Google Firebase Firestore) so they aren't lost.
- Rankings. Your rider name, best score, the date and the horse you used are shown on the public RANKS leaderboard to other players. Pick a rider name that doesn't identify you.
- Ads. The iPhone and Android apps show ads from Google AdMob (for example, a video you can choose to watch for a reward). AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location and information about ad interactions to show, measure and limit ads. Where the law requires it, the app asks for your consent first, and on iPhone it asks before any tracking. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
- On your device. Settings and a copy of your progress are stored on your device so the game works offline.
We don't ask for your contacts, photos, microphone, camera or precise location, and we don't sell your personal information.
How we use it
- To save and restore your progress and keep your account secure.
- To show the rankings.
- To show ads that keep the game free, and to measure and limit them.
- To keep the game working and fix problems.
Who processes it
Google (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Hosting and AdMob) and, if you use it, Apple (Sign in with Apple). They process data for us under their own terms and privacy policies: Google · Firebase · Apple. Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where they operate.
How long we keep it
Your game data is kept while your account exists. If you delete your account, your saved progress, your rankings entry and the account itself are deleted.
Delete your account and data
- In the game: Settings (gear) → ACCOUNT & SAVE → "delete my account and data" (tap twice). This deletes your online save, your rankings entry and your account right away.
- Without the app: email us from the address below with your rider name and ask for deletion. We delete the account and its data within 30 days.
- You can also turn off personalized ads in your phone's settings, and reset your advertising ID.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example in the EU/UK or California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your data, and to object to or limit some processing. Contact us to use these rights.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date above.
